"I paint my childhood memories. Alhough I missed out the kinship of sisterhood, in the absence of that relationship, I imagine how it would have been to have a sister. My longing for her comes through my paintings."

Monica Ghule likes to portray her bonds with her family and her freinds through her artworks. She says these are the most important relationships for her. She also paints her childhood memories with much fondness. These are precious for her because she says it was truly a time filled with countless “wow” moments, in contrast to those “can’t do this” and “I know better” moments that can plague us as adults.

Education & Career

Monica Ghule has a Government Diploma in Art, Diploma in Art Education and Masters in Fine Art.

Recognition & Awards

Monica was awarded the Best Entry, Badpalpur art Gallery, Badlapur in 2020. She has bagged awards in prestigious art exhibitions in Nagpur, Nashik, and Thane.
